Nubia Z50S Pro: Unveiling Camera-Centric Design and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor

Nubia, a sub-brand of ZTE, has recently announced the upcoming launch of its flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z50S Pro, in China on July 20. Prior to its official release, the device has already been spotted on platforms such as Geekbench and 3C certification, providing insights into its key features like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 80W fast charging. The brand has now officially unveiled images of the smartphone, along with additional specifications.

The Nubia Z50S Pro exhibits a sleek and boxy design, featuring a rear panel with a unique double-textured finish. The combination of a leather pattern and AG glass provides both style and protection to the device. Notably, the back of the phone prominently showcases a circular camera module housing three camera lenses. Interestingly, the inscriptions on the camera island indicate the presence of a 35mm lens. On the side of the device, three buttons can be found on the right side, including a power button, a volume rocker, and a dedicated button specifically designed for the camera shutter. These design elements strongly suggest that the Nubia Z50S Pro will offer an enhanced camera-centric experience.


Moving on to the display, Nubia has confirmed that the device will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K super-retina-level eye-protecting display. With a peak brightness of 1200nits and a pixel density of 452 ppi, this screen delivers stunning visuals. The display incorporates a small punch hole located at the top center and slim bezels, resulting in an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.89%. It also boasts features such as 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, Global DC dimming, AI intelligent brightness adjustment, and more. Moreover, the display offers a peak touch sampling rate of 1000Hz and covers 100% of the DCI P3 color gamut.

Additionally, Nubia has officially confirmed the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in the Nubia Z50S Pro. According to the brand, the device has achieved an outstanding benchmark score of 1,676,933 points on AnTuTu, highlighting its impressive performance capabilities.

In terms of battery capacity, the Nubia Z50S Pro will feature a 5100mAh battery. The device also supports fast charging of up to 80W, ensuring that users can quickly recharge their smartphones and stay connected.
